On a hiking trip to the Cairngorms National Park in the eastern Highlands of Scotland last spring, I was staying at the Aviemore Youth Hostel and chanced to take a walk to the beautiful Craigellachie National Reserve behind the hostel one wet morning. This photograph was taken on the path back to the hostel and I just love the clean vivid crispness of the greens in the foliage, which I had enhanced to emphasize the feeling of sweetness that I had felt at the scene on that enchanting walk. Scotland series. 2009.

A wanderer, artist, photographer, and sometimes writes stuff.. The pictures tell of my travels, my sentiments, my stories, my sightings, my wonder at the infinite possibilities of mother earth.. and of man. I hope they inspire one to head for the wilderness. And to experience the beauty of it all and make your own memories.
